Summary[]

The Priest is one of the four classes in Sinjid. It is a magic-oriented class focused mainly on dealing damage at range. This class has the highest damage and the lowest chance of survival among the three main classes.

The bulk of the Priest's abilities are powered by the Intellect attribute, with Agility as a secondary consideration. Intellect increases the damage of the Priest's ranged attacks, as well as increasing the health healed from the Meditation spell. An Agility-dominant build is potentially viable, but only after unlocking the Ghost Shuriken ultimate ability.

Priest abilities have extremely high Focus consumption compared to the abilities of the other classes. As a result, Priests benefit the most from items that increase the maximum Focus limit or increase Focus regen.

As the archetypal glass cannon, the Priest is in a unique situation where nearly every engagement will be quite lopsided, for or against the player. Many levels can be completed by standing at the level entrance and killing all enemies with ranged magic from across the map, but enemies that can close the distance, by virtue of their high health/abilities, spawn position, or numerical superiority will give the Priest great trouble in trying to stay alive. Effective Priest play involves keeping distance from the enemy, by killing them before they approach or by using distancing or distracting abilities such as Blink or Summon Shadow. Some of the most dangerous enemy abilities to the Priest are the Kunai pull, the Samurai's Blood Mirror, and the Assassin's Vanish. Meanwhile, it is noticeable that Priest is effective against enemies who cast spells (eg. Shockwave, Charge, Full health regeneration...etc.) by interruption of their channeling with Shadow Lock.

Basic/Starting Skills[]

Strike[]

CD: 0.7 sec | Attack the Enemy with a quick strike. Scale: Wpn 0.7 / Str 0.2 / Agi 0.1

Shadow Bolt[]

15 Focus | Cast: 1 sec | Fire a bolt of dark energy at the target. Each hit has a chance to cause Void Burn, which inflicts damage over time. Scale: 1 Int.

Dark Potion[]

CD: 120 sec | Instantly Heal yourself. Also restores Focus. Scale: 4.5 Vit. Restores 30 Focus.

Notes: Max HP is Vitality x 20. Thus, Potion heals for 22.5% of the user's health.

Dark Impact (5)[]

Passive. Increase your Shadow Bolt damage by 5/10/15/20/25% Intellect and lowers the casting time by 0.1/0.2/0.3/0.4/0.5 seconds.

Meditate (2)[]

CD: 12/9 sec. Cast: 1.5/1 sec. Recover Health and Focus, and dispel up to 3 negative effects. Scale: 2.3 Int. Restores 35 Focus. The heal can crit.

  • Meditation: This unit is recovering Focus. Ticks every 0.7 seconds. Restoring 2 focus per tick. Ticks about 10 times total.

Spirit Barrier (2)[]

Passive. An attack against this unit will have a chance to grant Spirit Barrier, which recovers Health and Focus, and also decrease damage taken.

  • This unit is shielded, taking less damage. Also recovering Health and Focus. Ticks every 0.8 seconds. Healing for 18 per tick. Scales with Level. Restoring 5 Focus per tick. Damage taken: -20%.

Ghost Strike (5)[]

20 Focus. CD: 6 sec. Strike the enemy and apply Soul Leak, which cripples movement and deals damage over time.

Summon Shadow (3)[]

50 Focus. CD: 15 sec. Summons a Shadow Guardian to fight by your side for 20 seconds. Unit Power: 20/24. Unit Health: 520/580.

Shadow Lock (2)[]

Requires 1 point in Dark Impact. 35 Focus. CD: 12 sec. Blast and suspend the enemy in mid-air. Consumes all stacks of Void Burn on the target to deal additional damage. Scale: 0.8 Int. Interrupts Casting. Air-Locks for 2.5 seconds. Buff Bonus: 20% per stack.

Phantom (2)[]

Requires 1 point in Ghost Strike. Passive. Increases the Critical Hit chance of Ghost Strike by 50/100%.

Blink (2)[]

15 Focus. CD: 8/5 sec. Instantly teleport forward.
